“Audio Template Required” (After Effects)

Section titled ““Audio Template Required” (After Effects)”

Some After Effects installs only have an AIFF audio template. Load VoxMark’s WAV template once — the steps are in Getting started.

VoxMark tells you the rendered size before it uploads. Groq’s free tier and OpenAI stop at 25 MB, about 13 minutes. Switch to AssemblyAI, which has no practical limit, or shorten the comp’s work area and transcribe in sections. See Transcribing.

Enter the number of speakers in Speakers (AssemblyAI). Left on auto, similar voices can merge. You can also fix individual captions by assigning voices by hand.

  • Is this the same project file? Transcripts belong to the project they were made in — a different project in the same folder starts empty. A saved new version picks up the earlier version’s transcript; see Your project’s VoxMark data.
  • Was the project moved without its Chroma folder? Put the folder back beside it.
  • The markers are still on the timeline? Rebuild from markers recovers the transcript from them.
  • Replaced it by mistake? The previous version is in Chroma/VoxMark/replaced/.

VoxMark warns when the number of markers no longer matches the saved transcript. Use Rebuild from markers to take what’s on the timeline, or Create markers from transcript to resync the timeline.

Click ↺ in the panel header to reload the panel. If that doesn’t help, close and reopen it from Window ▸ Extensions ▸ VoxMark.

Open a support ticket from the VoxMark product page — see Licensing & support. Copy the panel’s log (the ⎘ button at the bottom of the panel) into your ticket; it shows exactly what happened.
